We are proud to announce our 2027 Academic Scholarship 📣

Supporting graduating seniors across Virginia who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, responsibility, and a commitment to community service.

This scholarship is open to Class of 2027 seniors from all Virginia-based high schools who plan to attend Virginia State University or Virginia Union University.

📅 Applications Open: October 1, 2026 at 8:00 AM
⏳ Deadline: April 16, 2027 at 11:59 PM
💲 Renewable for up to three additional years: Potential total value of $4,000

SAVE THE DATE!

The 2027 Nu Lambda Chapter Scholarship will be open to the public on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 8:00am. All graduating high school seniors from the Class of 2027 of ALL VIRGINIA HIGH SCHOOLS are encouraged to apply. Applicants must plan on attending either Virginia State University or Virginia Union University in the fall 0f 2027.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to read ALL information regarding the scholarship and required materials BEFORE applying.

June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month—a time dedicated to raising awareness about the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of men and boys.
Too often, men are taught to suffer in silence, carry burdens alone, and hide their struggles behind a smile. The truth is that seeking help is not a sign of weakness—it is a sign of strength.
This month, we encourage every man to:
✅ Talk to someone you trust.
✅ Prioritize your physical and mental health.
✅ Build strong, supportive relationships.
✅ Set healthy boundaries.
✅ Seek professional help when needed.
Remember, taking care of your mental health is just as important as taking care of your physical health.

Today, on behalf of the Nu Lambda Chapter, Bro. Parker delivered over 100 personal hygiene products and other necessities at the Petersburg People’s Advantage Credit Union to support the displaced residents of Carriage House in Petersburg.
It is our sincere hope that these contributions provide assistance as they navigate this difficult and unexpected chapter in their lives.
