🦃 Meet Petunia! 🌸

Petunia was one of the first two turkeys we brought to the farm—and our only girl! We originally got her because we wanted to see if a turkey could truly become a pet…and she absolutely exceeded every expectation.

Petunia wants to be everywhere and involved in everything! She loves following us around, visiting the classroom, and being picked up and snuggled by the children. She is gentle, loving, full of personality, and every bit as cute as her name.

Life at Pine Row simply wouldn’t be the same without our sweet Petunia! 🤎

🥚🐓 OUR FIRST EGG FROM THE NEW COOP!!!

It didn’t take long for the girls to settle in and get right to work! 😂🤎

After months of playing hide-and-seek around the farm trying to figure out where our free-range ladies decided to lay their eggs that day… we officially have our first coop egg!

Such a simple little thing, but SO exciting for us and the kids. Now to see how many we can collect! 🐔🥚

🐓🌾 The chicken coop is FINALLY in its last stretch of building!

And maybe the biggest accomplishment of all… we successfully captured all of our free-range girls AND Petunia the turkey. 😂🦃

As much as we love letting them roam the farm, gathering eggs and feeding everyone had started to feel like a daily game of hide-and-seek. Eggs in mystery locations, chickens wherever they pleased, and Petunia just along for the adventure. 🤪

Soon our feathered crew will have their very own finished space where we can gather eggs, feed everyone, and actually know where to find them!

The kids have loved watching this project come together, and we’re so excited to have another little piece of Pine Row’s farm growing right alongside them. 🤎🐓🌿

🎃 Pumpkin Field Update! 🎃

We might have gotten our pumpkin field planted a few weeks later than planned… but Mother Nature said, “We’ve still got time!” 🫶🏼🌱

We have pumpkin plants popping up and thriving, and we’re crossing our fingers that all this sunshine, rain, and a little farm magic gives us pumpkins by October! 🎃✨

The kids have been able to watch this little patch go from seeds in the dirt to growing vines, and now we wait to see what our pumpkin field has in store for us! 🤎

Come on, pumpkins — you’ve got this! 🎃🌿

🫏🤎 Meet Franklin! 🤎🫏

Franklin is our donkey that we just so happened to end up with—and what a happy accident he turned out to be!

Franklin originally had a job as a cow protector… and, well, he failed pretty miserably at that job. 😂 Thankfully, that failure landed him here with us, and we couldn’t be happier about it.

He is the sweetest, quietest, most lovable guy. You’ll rarely hear him bray unless it’s dinner time—although the kids are constantly trying to convince him to do it on command. 😂

Franklin loves all of his farm friends and is our gentle giant of the group. He’s so patient and easygoing that he even lets the goats snuggle up with him at night. 🐐🤎

He may not have made the best cow protector, but he definitely found the job he was meant for: being loved on by a whole bunch of kids, keeping his farm friends company, and being one of the sweetest members of the Pine Row crew.

We sure are thankful Franklin failed at his first career. 🫏🤎

This was our first event on the farm and it was SO FUN.

Thank you Toledo's Ms. Rachele for coming and making sure each child had the best time on the farm this morning!

🐐🤍 Meet Theo! 🤍🐐

Theo is our handsome white and gray goat and the other half of our double-trouble duo with Max!

He’s a little more reserved than Max, but don’t let that fool you—if Max is headed somewhere he shouldn’t be, Theo is usually right behind him. 😂 Max may lead the escape, but Theo makes sure to be the last one you can catch, turning every little goat adventure into a full workout!

Theo is our easygoing, independent guy. He’ll happily accept some pets, but he’s also perfectly content hanging out in his own little world. Maybe that’s why everyone wants his attention so badly—he makes you work for it! 🤍

He’s also our resident parkour professional. If there’s something in or around the barn that can be jumped on, climbed over, bounced off of, or somehow turned into an obstacle course, Theo has already figured it out. 🤸‍♂️🐐

And while he may play hard to get, don’t worry—he’ll still be one of the first goats waiting to head-butt you when you walk outside. 😂

Max may be the snuggler, but Theo is our independent, mischievous, parkour-loving wild card—and we wouldn’t have our double-trouble duo any other way. 🤍🐐
