The VSU Elite Entrepreneurship Club is back in town from an amazing HBCU – MSI entrepreneurship conference and pitch event where they had the opportunity to hear a speech from the Honorable Andrew Young and meet with several other entrepreneurship leaders and like-minded entrepreneurship students. Only 3 student teams won out of the 20+ present but our VSU Elite students, who have already won $$$ thousands individually on a team with Pharrell's Black Ambition and at regional pitches, gained invaluable experience and feedback, and will come again.

Our wonderful students, Joshua McIntosh, Outgoing President of VSU's Elite Entrepreneurship Club; Aniya Omopariola, Pitch Team Leader; Desmond Allen, Incoming President; and Georgina Mendoza, Incoming Vice President, participated in the HBCU MSI, national entrepreneurship and innovation pitch competition and conference. Our students gained invaluable experience and networked with highly knowledgeable executives, venture capitalists, faculty, and fellow students to further their work on their innovative company idea, Snapify. Thanks to Ms. Xave Morgan, our wonderful part time program assistant and small business consultant, for help with organizing, corralling, and preparing our brilliant students and future entrepreneurs.
