We wanted to take a moment to let our PES families know that over the summer, our district received new phones for all our school buildings. We were made aware that our building's phones were not set up to receive voicemails. The problem has now been fixed, and our phones are set up and operational as we head into the new school year. Please accept our apologies if you haven't been able to get in touch with us. We are excited and look forward to all our students returning next week on the 27th!🙂💙💛

Class placement emails have gone out today! If you have not received one by the end of the day, please call the school/front office🙂
We also wanted to let families know we are trying our best to update Mrs. O'Connor's s'more newsletter with emails from incoming Kindergarteners, new students, as well as returning students. The one below was sent out today, and if you did not receive it, please email Mrs. O'Connor to be added to the newsletter for all school updates this coming school year. The countdown is on! We are looking forward to another wonderful school year ahead!💛💙

Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer!🌞We wanted to take a moment to let Peterborough Elementary families know that by the end of next week (Friday 8/7), the teacher/classroom lists should be finalized, and you will be receiving an email to notify you about your students' teacher for the 2026-2027 school year! Keep your eyes open for the email. If you haven't received an email by Monday 8/9, please call the school. We are hoping every family has an updated email address on file. Thank you!🙂

With the last day of school behind us, and students, staff and teachers now out of the building for the summer, Peterborough Elementary wants to thank you for another successful school year! Our teachers and staff work tirelessly to support our students, and it really shows each and every day. We are signing off for the summer, and look forward to our next school year, beginning Thursday August 27th! May it be a fun, happy, and restful summer for all!☀️💙💛🌊

Our last week of school at PES is all about fun and making some memories! Our 1st-4th grades have made their way to Adam's Playground and Pool this week, and it's been a few days filled with sun, swimming, games, and playground time. Kindergarten also got to go to the playground and had their own water-themed day at school, too! It's the best way to end the school year!🌊☀️💛💙

💙💛Field day!! One of our most loved days here at PES. It's a fun morning for all as students, staff, and even parents gather to participate in a morning of fun activities and water games. There were so many smiles, laughs, and memories being made! A BIG THANK YOU to our Wellness teachers, Mrs. Morris! You made it an incredible morning for all! We are so grateful to you! Another thank you to all the staff and parent volunteers as well!🙂

Our 2nd graders from Ms. Dunning and Ms. Ambrosini's class are enjoying a cold treat after their walking field trip to the Peterborough Town Library to learn about the library's summer reading program. It was the best day for ice cream and books!🍦📚

Our ILS students made a special trip to the Friendly Farm today! Not only was the weather beautiful, but there were also so many interactions and experiences with the animals. Goats, cows, sheep, chickens, baby chicks, bunnies galore! Lots of smiles and so many fun memories!🐥🐮🐔☀️💛💙

To round out our alphabet countdown for the week, the Kindergarten class celebrated "K" day. The classes constructed kites from paper bags, decorated them, and gave them a test flight! 😎🪁 Lots of smiles and fun today!

Today, during our all-school assembly, the whole school went outside for a brief Memorial Day service. After the service, students placed flags around the front of the school to honor and remember our fallen veterans.
