Art at The Well School is creativity, collaboration, celebration, and discovery. Art is part of everything we do! Each class does have a dedicated weekly class in the Art studio, which is a time for skill building, learning art techniques and history, and maybe even discovering a hidden talent through multiple engaging and creative projects.
One such project is the journal covers our grades students create each year. Students take several art classes at the beginning of the school year to complete these paintings, then they are lovingly bound onto notebooks by our Art faculty.
For some classes this journal will hold writing prompts, stories, and pictures. For older students, it will hold poetry, self-discovery, and even hopes and dreams. For all of them, it is a record of their time at The Well and their childhood.
