Looking for an opportunity to give back to the community and our planet?😁🌍
Let’s get together the first Friday of September to show some love to the garden at La Tercera Park in Petaluma!

We'll be out there weeding, watching pollinators, and connecting. Stay for as little or as long as you'd like.

This garden was installed in December of 2024 and is now a thriving landscape that supports pollinators and other wildlife. It’s rain garden also helps to mitigate flooding and improve infiltration. Come out to learn more or just enjoy the company.

We hope to see you there!😁

A week ago today, Daily Acts attended a Los Cien Sonoma County event for Local Climate Action: Healing Land, Healing Communities.💚 It was inspiring to hear the stories from folks in our community who are working together to effect positive change for the planet and the people!

We are so grateful we were invited to take part in and connect with everyone who attended. Thank you for having us!🫶

We had a huge turnout for our Summer Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop at the Cavanagh Center on Saturday! Participants learned when and where to make cuts for different types of fruit trees and got to do some hands-on practice with the many mature fruit trees on site.🌳

Sending thanks to Clare Riesman for leading this workshop, sharing her extensive knowledge, and answering all the questions! We love working with her.🫶

Shoutout to Wild Flour Bread for donating delicious baked goods and Petaluma Coffee & Tea Co. for their yummy cold brew. Our participants were very happy to be greeted by your goodies!

This program was made possible by a collaboration with the City of Petaluma.

What better way to spend time with a friend than walking through a beautiful garden?🌻

"This garden invites connection, curiosity and interaction with the natural world. It provides opportunity for education and inspiration for people to determine and imagine how they could bring these opportunities into their own lives and their own gardens."
-Emily Nodal, Daily Acts' Senior Programs Coordinator
