🎶💚 Friday Morning Gathering at Old Adobe! 💛

What a wonderful way to start our Friday! Our Roadrunners gathered together this morning and were treated to the musical stylings of Mr. Noble’s first grade class, who beautifully sang This Land Is Your Land. 🇺🇸🎵

Their sweet voices and enthusiastic performance brought so much joy to our morning, and reminded us what makes our Old Adobe community so special: our kids! 🥰

A big round of applause for Mr. Noble’s class for sharing their talents with us! 👏🎶

🏃‍♀️💚 OLD ADOBE ROADRUNNERS RUNNING CLUB STARTS TOMORROW! 💛🏃‍♂️

Lace up, Roadrunners! Our Running Club kicks off tomorrow, August 28—and we can’t wait to get moving! 🎉

Running Club happens during recess before lunch on Fridays. Kids can run or walk, and every lap counts! 🏃‍♀️🚶‍♀️

Here’s how it works:
👟 8 laps = 1 mile
📅 1 lap = 1 day of participation
🏅 Kids can earn fun necklaces, charms & buttons as they reach different mileage milestones.
🎉 After 4 weeks of participation, runners earn the chance to choose a cool prize!
🎁 After 10 weeks, they’ll unlock another surprise prize!
🏃‍♀️ And everyone is invited to the End-of-Year Fun Run on April 30!

⭐ AND THIS FRIDAY IS EXTRA SPECIAL! ⭐
It’s our FIRST SCHOOL SPIRIT DAY! Show your Roadrunner pride by wearing your Old Adobe spirit wear or green + gold/yellow! 💚💛

💚 WE NEED OUR ROADRUNNER GROWN-UPS!

One of the BEST parts of Running Club is seeing how excited kids get when their grown-ups show up to cheer them on and help out. 🥹💚

We’d love parent/family volunteers to help with Running Club—whether you can help regularly or just stop by when your schedule allows. Your Roadrunner may be looking for you on the track! 👀🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

We’re excited to announce that enrollment is officially OPEN for Old Adobe Elementary’s After School Enrichment Programs! 🥳

We have many returning favorites that our Roadrunners love, PLUS a brand-new option this year: CHESS! ♟️ We’re so excited to add this fun opportunity for students to learn, think strategically, and challenge themselves.

Whether your child is discovering a new interest or returning to a favorite activity, there’s something exciting waiting after the school bell! 💚💛
