Shining Star Shining Star closed at the end of 2014. Shining Star closed it’s doors in December 2014. the children in my care!).

I thank the many families for their support here in Petaluma since 1996 and in the East Bay going back to 1981. Not only was I an educator 42 years, I was also a student, guided by my early childhood protégées (i.e. Since I decided to retire, I now wonder how I had the time to do everything, given that I don’t have enough time now. Life was good, Life is good and I look forward to exploring it further!

Wow! 5 years retired and people are still finding my web site, Facebook account and calling my home number (it was never listed for Shining Star!). I love that I still have many contacts with former families and children after all of this time. I still have contacts that go back to may earliest business years (1981!!!). ❤️ to all!

‘Tho I’m retired I do still get my “kid fix” with Jacob. He is what I lovingly call ”my grand-cousin.” That’s my 1st cousin twice removed. And, this weekend I am so looking forward to celebrating our twin grand-baby’s first birthdays!
