Coping skills: As many of us do, lately I find myself talking to me all the time. While it does seem a bit unhinged, it is very satisfying to me to be able to finish a sentence. My husbands certainly never let me and my students were always finished before I was. The delight of complete sentences has seldom felt better! Andthe dogs always agree with me.

This is the way all text looks to me, except it's sort of waving around too. ADHD. Brain injury. Don't blame us for dyslexia, can't help it. Over time, we learn to cope, but it does slow us down. So many people made the mistake of thinking i was stupid, too... heheheh...

Listening to a Heavyweight Podcast about a young woman's social rejection in 8th grade, and I want to make sure kids understand the absolute pointlessness of it-- and to try not to take it personally. I think it's mostly bad luck to be chosen as a scape goat, and all you can do is drop the group. Who needs friends like that? You were probably smarter than they were anyway and became a threat to a leader!
