🍎📚 HAPPY WORLD TEACHERS’ DAY! 📚🍎

Today, we celebrate the incredible teachers who show up every day with patience, passion, creativity, and dedication to help our students learn, grow, and believe in themselves. ❤️

Teachers do so much more than teach lessons—they inspire, encourage, challenge, listen, support, and make a lasting difference in the lives of their students.

To all of the amazing teachers at Northview Elementary and Parkside Middle School: THANK YOU! ❤️ Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and we are so grateful for everything you do for our children and our schools.

✨ Thank you for making a difference, one student at a time! ✨

🧹❤️ HAPPY NATIONAL CUSTODIAL APPRECIATION DAY! ❤️🧹

Today, we want to give a HUGE shoutout to the amazing custodial staff who work behind the scenes every day to keep our schools clean, safe, welcoming, and ready for our students! 🏫✨

From keeping classrooms and hallways clean to tackling the unexpected messes that come with hundreds of kids every day, you do so much more than people often realize. Your hard work helps create an environment where our students can learn, grow, and feel comfortable each day. ❤️

Thank you for everything you do for our schools, our teachers, our staff, and most importantly, our kids! We appreciate you more than you know! 👏🧹🍎

Please join us in giving our custodial staff a big THANK YOU! today! ❤️🖤

We are so grateful for you! 🎉

🎉 BECAUSE OF YOU! 🎉

Thanks to the incredible support of everyone who donated to our Fund the Educational Fun fundraiser, we are already putting those dollars to work for our students! ❤️🖤

At our latest PTA meeting, we were able to approve funding for TWO field trips this school year! 🚌✨

🎃 1st Grade → Heap’s Giant Pumpkin Farm
Our first graders will get hands-on learning about pumpkins, corn, honey bees, farm animals, and more!

🏛️ 4th Grade → Putnam Museum
Our fourth graders will explore history, culture, science, rocks and minerals, the human body, and thousands of fascinating artifacts!

PTA funding going directly toward educational experiences and memories for our students. 🥰

This is exactly why your donations matter. Every donation—big or small—helps us provide experiences beyond the classroom that our kids will remember for years to come.

❤️ YOU donated. YOU made this possible. YOU are helping us Fund the Educational Fun! ❤️

Thank you to our families, friends, community members, and everyone who supported our fundraiser. We can’t wait to show you what else your generosity makes possible this year! 🚌📚✨

🌟 MEET THE BOARD MONDAY 🌟

Every Monday, we’re introducing you to one of the amazing people who make up our PTA Board! ❤️🖤

This week, meet Jessica Turczyn — Communication Coordinator! 👋

📚 About Me: I’m a mom to three boys and have been married to my husband for eight years this October! We also have two yellow labs, Tenny and Nash (named after Nashville, Tennessee!). I work full-time in healthcare and also coach part-time.

🏫 My Connection to Northview: I have two boys at Northview—one in first grade and one in preschool! Our youngest is still home with us and will be celebrating his first birthday this October. ❤️

❤️ Why I Joined the PTA: I joined the PTA because I want to make a difference for the students and teachers in our schools. I want to help create positive experiences and special memories for our kids that they’ll carry with them for a lifetime!

🎉 My Favorite PTA Event: The Family Sweetheart Dance! I love getting dressed up with my family, going to the dance together, and then ending the night with dinner out. It’s such a fun opportunity to make special memories together.

✨ Something You Might Not Know About Me: I love anything crafty! It’s actually one of the things that drew me to the PTA. Whether it’s making crafts or decorations for a dance or putting together gift bags for Teacher Appreciation Week and other celebrations, I love finding creative ways to make things special. Crafting is also one of the ways I relax and shut my brain off for a little while!

🎯 What I’m Looking Forward to This Year: I’m excited to try some new things! I’m especially looking forward to our popcorn fundraiser and the Draw Down. I think the Draw Down will be such a fun opportunity for adults in our school community to get together, make connections, and enjoy a night out!

Be sure to say hello to Jessica when you see her around school! 👋 We’re so excited for another great year and grateful for everyone who helps make our PTA possible! ❤️🖤

Stay tuned next Monday to meet another member of our PTA
