In Y child care programs, every child is treated as an individual, learning through hands on activities in an age appropriate environment. We provide opportunities for self expression through social/emotional, physical, cognitive and language development, while stimulating young minds to bring greater understanding, awareness and curiosity. Our center utilizes Creative Curriculum to create purpose
ful and productive experiences that help children grow in all areas of development and the CATCH program to incorporate healthy habits of physical fitness and good nutritional choices, as part of our programs. The center is affiliated with the YMCA of MEWSA and housed in Grace Lutheran Church. The center operates year round for children one year to five years of age. There are four classrooms in operation with the present capacity to serve up to 49 children per day. The Toddler and Pre-School classrooms are available for enrollment to the public. However, the Pre-K 3 and 4 classrooms are contracted with the Board of Education in Perth Amboy, making only Perth Amboy residents eligible for enrollment. There is also a summer program in July and August for Pre-K and School-aged children and enrollment is open to the public
