We would love to have you! Parents, grandparents, caregivers, and other Bulldog supporters are all encouraged to complete our volunteer interest Google Form if you did not complete an in person signup at back to school night.

There are lots of ways to help throughout the year, and volunteering doesn’t have to mean a huge time commitment. Whether you can help at an event, work behind the scenes, assist from home, or simply want to hear about opportunities as they come up, fill out the form and let us know what interests you!

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU to all of our families, staff, and donors for sharing our excitement and truly embracing this year’s Back to School auction on its new online platform.

With the help of everyone involved, we raised over $3,000 to start the school year—and we have already been working to approve and fund items to go right back into your child’s classroom.

If you were a lucky winner, we will reach out to give you more directions in the coming days! We will also be posting a google form in the coming days requesting your thoughts on this fundraiser and what you would like to see in the future—we love your participation and feedback!

💡 How Extended Bidding Works:
To keep things fair, our auction uses extended bidding. If a bid is placed on an item during the final moments before closing, the bidding time for that item only will automatically be extended by a few minutes. This gives everyone who is interested a chance to respond, just like a live auction. Max extension time is 30 minutes.

So don’t wait until the very last second! Add your favorite items to your watchlist, keep an eye on your bids, and be ready if someone challenges you near the end.

Our silent auction is a hybrid event, giving everyone (and supporters near and far) a chance to bid!

🗓️ Back-to-School Night (August 4 | 5:30–7:00 PM)
• View all auction items in person.
• Ask questions before you bid.
• Place bids on the paper bid sheets.

💻 Online Bidding (Immediately after Back-to-School Night)
At the end of the event, the highest paper bid for each item will become the opening online bid on 32auctions. From there, bidding continues online until:

Silent Auction Rules

✔️ Bids must increase by at least $1.
✔️ Winning items must be paid for by cash or check before pickup in the PES front office (checks payable to Perryville PTO).
✔️ Items not paid for by Friday, August 21 will be forfeited and offered to the next highest bidder.
✔️ Some items are exclusive to PES students, staff, and families, while others are open to all supporters. Exclusive items are noted directly under item name.

We are incredibly honored and humbled to present our final silent auction item, a generous gift donated by Chef Rick Cassidy and Samantha Cassidy, as they prepare for the opening of Margie in downtown Danville. The winning bidder will be one of the first to experience Margie in an exclusive, intimate setting when it opens this fall.

Chef Rick Cassidy brings more than two decades of culinary experience, including leadership roles with Walt Disney World and Hilton Hotels, along with experience in Michelin-recognized and James Beard–recognized restaurants. He is also the founder of Noodlecraft, a Kentucky-based fresh pasta business known for handcrafted pasta, sauces, private dinners, classes, and locally sourced ingredients.
Chef Rick’s newest venture, Margie, is a neighborhood restaurant and retail market opening in downtown Danville. Inspired by family, tradition, and the comfort of gathering around the table, Margie will feature scratch-made food, fresh pasta produced in-house, seasonal Kentucky ingredients, thoughtful service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

This auction experience includes a private, hands-on pasta class followed by dinner prepared by Chef Rick for up to ten people. Guests will learn the techniques behind making fresh pasta from scratch, then sit down together to enjoy a meal centered around the pasta they helped create. It is designed to be relaxed, personal, and memorable—part cooking class, part private dinner, and entirely focused on great food and hospitality.
