Students in the HVAC program at Ranken Technical College - Southeast recently completed a hands-on project in their Mechanical Applications class, where they learned to create the copper piping connections commonly used throughout the HVAC industry.

From brazing and soldering to precision craftsmanship, the skills they're learning in class help prepare students for the real-world work they'll encounter in the field.

On Monday, we broke ground on the future Ranken Aircraft Maintenance Technical School in Perryville, an exciting partnership with the City of Perryville!

With support from the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA), we were honored to welcome Angela Martinez, Regional Director of the EDA Denver Regional Office, along with remarks from Ranken President Don Pohl.

This new school will provide hands-on training for FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification, opening doors to in-demand aviation careers and opportunities close to home.

Today, we remember and honor the courageous service members who gave their lives for our country.

Ranken has been proud to support veterans and active-duty military members throughout the years, and we remain inspired by their dedication, sacrifice, and commitment to serving others.

In observance of Memorial Day, the Ranken Southeast location and all other Ranken offices and locations will be closed Monday, May 25.

At Ranken’s Summer Adventure Academy in Perryville, students spend their time building projects, exploring technology, creating with their hands, and trying out skills connected to real careers.

Focused in on welding and diesel projects, these camps are designed for curious middle and high school students who like learning by doing.
