🎨🏆 We’ve got some talented artists at PES! 🏆🎨

A HUGE congratulations to Daphne Wood and Maggie Cross for being winners of the 2026 First Electric Cooperative Coloring Contest! 🖍️✨

Both students were recognized for their creativity and artistic talents and received a brand-new Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids Pro tablet! 🎉

We are so proud of these two Mustangs for representing Perryville Elementary! Keep shining and showing off those amazing talents! ❤️🐴

🔬🧬 SCIENCE IN ACTION AT PES! 🧠🫁

Who says learning science can’t be FUN?! 🤩

Mr. Kuhn brought science to life with an awesome, hands-on lesson that had our students moving, exploring, collaborating, and thinking like scientists! 🧪

Students rotated through interactive stations to explore different parts of the human body, including brain cells, lungs, and the small intestine. This was a fantastic example of engaging, meaningful learning where students weren’t just hearing about science—they were experiencing it!

👏 A huge shoutout to Mr. Kuhn for creating such an exciting learning experience for our Mustangs!

❤️ This is what teaching is all about! ❤️

We loved seeing this special moment shared by one of our PES families!

When Emma was asked which teacher had made the biggest impact on her love of learning, she didn’t hesitate: Mrs. Samantha Sharpe! 🍎📚

Mrs. Sharpe had the opportunity to teach Emma in both kindergarten and third grade, and years later, the connection and impact are still going strong. Emma recently chose to honor Mrs. Sharpe by giving her football number to the teacher who has made such a lasting difference in her life. 🏈❤️

Mom shared that Mrs. Sharpe encouraged Emma, believed in her, challenged her, celebrated her, and—most importantly—helped her develop a genuine love for learning.

We are so proud to have teachers at PES who make this kind of lasting impact on our students. The lessons taught in a classroom may last a year, but the way a teacher makes a child feel can last a lifetime.

Mrs. Sharpe, thank you for making a difference that continues long after students leave your classroom. We are proud you’re a PES Mustang! ❤️🐴

Ms. Denn has done a great job teaching third graders all about area in math! She has a true love for the kids & they all love her! She is always willing to jump right in and help in any way possible & we know she has a bright future!
