💙💗 We’re Celebrating Our Kindergarten Grandparents! 💗💙

We are so excited to welcome our Kindergarten grandparents to Perryville Elementary for a special afternoon celebrating the important role they play in our students’ lives! 🥰

Children ages 6 and under are invited to compete on Thursday, September 17 at 6:00 PM. Entry is $2 per contestant. Stick horses and inflatable bulls will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own stick horse.

3rd graders are starting their first science unit on balanced & unbalanced forces, and what’s a better way to see some forces in action than a friendly little competition?! They enjoyed this hands on learning experience with tug-of-war to kick off their unit!

Our 3rd graders are leveling up their phonics skills! 📚✨ This week, they reviewed open and closed syllables while reviewing the Superhero Vowels! 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️

Mrs. Hamilton brought The Legend of Rock Paper Scissors to life for her students, making reading engaging, memorable, and FUN! 🪨📄✂️

We love seeing our teachers find creative ways to hook students into a great book while building excitement for learning from the very beginning of the year.
