✨MEET THE TEAMS✨
From Arkansas, we have Cameron Roland, Braxton Strecker and Jessa Mix.
Cameron Roland is 16 years old and has been a member of Perry County 4H for 11 years. From a very young age, she developed a love for cattle and entered her first cattle show at age 5. The passion for cattle has also grown outside of the ring, with public speaking and participation in several 4-H contests. Cameron has passed down a love of showing to her younger siblings and enjoys farm life with her family.
Braxton Strecker is 15 years old and has been attending 4-H meetings with his older sibling since before age 5. His love for cows has taken root through working cattle with his grandpa, “Pops”. He plans to own and operate a cattle operation in the future. Braxton has been a dedicated 4-H member in many project areas and is described as someone always willing to help out. He has enjoyed this competition and being a backbone for his teammates.
Jessa Mix is 16 years old and has been in Perry County 4-H for 10 years. She is a first-generation showman working her way up to her first cow last year. Jessa has found working with animals to be a way to express herself and grow as an individual. Through public speaking in 4-H, she has found an interest in cattle nutrition and parasitic medicine. She is a role model for her younger siblings with her work ethic and dedication to them. She is grateful to 4-H for the opportunities it has given her to thrive in her future.
