In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, we came together as a school community to honor and remember those who lost their lives and those who served.

Today, Mrs. Kuhlman lead the National Anthem as the entire school sang together in unity. We are also honored to have two students from our choir, Kara Luce and Annabelle Bucko, performing in the musical Come From Away.

Come From Away is based on the true events of 9/11, telling the story of 38 planes carrying passengers from around the world that were diverted when American airspace was closed following the attacks.

Congratulations Siena Eggenberger for representing Perrysburg Schools at OMEA All-State Choir!

The audition process took place last school year in May and results were unveiled in August. Siena is among the 130 students who were selected from the 613 participating schools in OMEA, this is her second consecutive year participating in this event. Siena will be attending regional rehearsals and will be performing at the OMEA All-State Conference in Janurary in Columbus. We are so proud of you!

P.s. check out the photo of her from last year with Mrs. Kuhlman and Mr. Hamilton!

We offer VOICE LESSONS for PHS Choirs!! Meet one of our teachers: Julianne Eggenberger! On top of being a voice teacher she is a real estate investor and is involved with our high school and junior high booster programs

I’ve been teaching private voice lessons in Perrysburg for the past five years, and have been teaching in some capacity or another for 15 years in total. I’m a graduate of Perrysburg High School, and although I’ve had the opportunity to live in England, Wales, and Switzerland, there’s truly nothing like Perrysburg. I love involving my students in our annual Student Showcase, Christmas Recital, and other performance opportunities throughout the year. These experiences allow students to build confidence both on and off the stage, and develop a genuine love for learning through experience!

We offer VOICE LESSONS for PHS Choirs!! Meet one of our teachers: JESSYE WRIGHT! On top of being a voice teacher she is a singer and voiceiver artist!

I’ve been teaching private voice at PHS in preparation for OMEA Solo & Ensemble Contest for the past 3 years. I grew up in Bowling Green outside of Haskins and went to Otsego High School. I lived in Chicago and worked as a voice teacher and singer for 25+ years. Then recently moved back to the area with my family. I’ve loved working with the students here at PHS! It’s a great school, a great fine arts program and the students are exceptional!

MEET THE DIRECTOR: MRS. KUHLMAN🎶

Hi, Perrysburg! I’m Mrs. Kuhlman, and I’m excited to be starting my second year as the PHS Choir Director! This is my 15th year in Perrysburg Schools, having started in the district back in 2012. It’s been so fun to watch our choir program grow and to now get to work with students at the high school!

A little about me: I studied Music Education at Eastern Michigan University and Vocal Performance at the University of Toledo. I’ve also performed with the Toledo Opera Chorus and love getting the chance to perform whenever I can.

I’m so excited for another year of singing, performing, laughing, and making some great memories with our PHS Choir students! ❤️

It's the choirs' first week back at school! Here's a little recap of everything we've been up to 🐝🎶

Welcome to Kamp Kuhlman! Campers learned the camp ground rules and took on the challenge to make themselves feel more at home in the choir room! 🏕🎶

Students had to become detectives and uncover clues about our choir director 🔎🎵

While it's the first week for most students, Swarm has been at school practicing for competitions since JULY! 🕺🎵

The binders are in hand so it's time to get singing! 🎤🎶

This week every choir class added their own link to our paper chains. They shared characteristics and values that make our choir special!! 🔗🎵

New year, new board! Our boards are looking a bit different this year, so come by and see where your name is! 🐝🎶

Time to put our choir community on display! 🔗🎶

Who is that learning the music already?

That's a wrap from this week! Make sure to check out our fresh new set up for this fresh new year!Let's get singing!! 🎤🎶
