Ohio Conclave

I am aware this is an “unusual ask” of our Conclave community, but I have been given the opportunity to help current and future teacher candidates in our field with the “One Day” giving event at BGSU.

For over 100 years our program has graduated teachers in the areas of business, finance, and marketing education. We have an established fund, through our BGSU Foundation, to support the professional development of our teacher candidates. Today I am asking you to contribute to the fund with a “challenge” to match your contribution, dollar for dollar, up to $1000.00.

For as long as I can remember, BGSU business/marketing ed has sent our pre-service teachers to conferences to support the lifelong learning and networking benefits of the professional organizations. I believe strongly in the benefit of our organizations. I know from experience the power of participation of pre-service teachers in the organizations and conferences related to their classrooms and leadership roles in our field. Although retired, I am committed to carrying on this tradition of supporting students and I hope you will join me.
