Hey TRIO SSS scholars! It’s Throwback Thursday, and this time we’re celebrating famous TRIO alumni. Krystal Brumfield is an alumna of Talent Search at Southern University and Upward Bound at Southeastern Louisiana University. Brumfield started her career in Washington, D.C. as the tax and procurement counsel for the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship. Later, she became the Associate Administrator and Chief Acquisition Officer of the U.S. General Services Administration. Brumfield was recognized as a National TRIO Achiever in 2010.
