Former coaches and players, along with members of the community, have scheduled a Celebration of Life for Hall of Fame football coach Joe Leigh, who died on March 23, 2026.

The Leigh family has asked that attendees wear their Raven Pride to the event in honor of Coach Leigh.

The Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, at 2 p.m. in the Ravenna High School Auditorium.

This is a message to all of Scott's friends.

Go to obituaries. Put in Bradley Hensley and scroll down. If you see the picture of the rock, that is the rock that Bob brought down from Ohio for Scott and Scott moved it wherever we lived.
PLEASE do me a favor. There were two songs that Scott wanted played at his funeral and because it was a military service, I couldn't do it. Please go to YouTube and play Pink Floyd, Wish You Were Here and Old Man by Neil Young. I know Scott would love it if you did.

Oh Classmates, we have lost yet another great Human...Prayers for his wife & family

To all of Scott Hensley friends, I'm very sad to tell you that Scott passed away on November 29th after a very long and hard fought battle with cancer. He kept his sense of humor till the very end. And I can tell you, without a doubt, his friendship with each of you meant the world to him.
His service will be on December 10th at 10:30 a.m. at the National Cemetery in Bushnell Florida
