Sonography is so much more than taking pictures. It requires knowledge, critical thinking, attention to detail, and technical skill, all while adapting to each patient’s needs. From the physical demands of scanning to the challenges of difficult exams, our profession requires both a sharp mind and a steady hand!
As sonography educators, we have the privilege of helping train the next generation of sonographers, and we couldn’t do it without the incredible sonographers who support our students at local hospitals, physician offices, and other clinical sites. You share your knowledge, offer guidance, and help shape the future of our profession every single day.
From the three of us at Owens, thank you to all of our clinical partners and fellow sonographers who invest their time and energy into our students. Your willingness to teach and mentor makes a lasting difference—not only for our students, but for the patients they will care for in the future.
