Dental Hygiene Program Mission
To provide a scientifically current; competency-based curriculum focusing on cognitive, psychomotor and affective education essential to becoming a competent dental hygienist.

Why did you choose dental hygiene? 🦷

I’ve always known I wanted a career in healthcare, but my interest in dentistry truly grew during my own Invisalign journey. That experience led me to work as a dental assistant, where I quickly fell in love with the field. I saw firsthand the meaningful impact dental care has on patients’ health and confidence. From the beginning, I knew I wanted to become a hygienist because I am so passionate about educating patients, helping them feel comfortable, and empowering them to be proud of their smiles!
