Congratulations to our students of the week! The students are:
Journie Howard, Kiyan Rucker, Ethan Swift, Claire McGuire, Evelyn Pattillo, Nas'sir Lawson!
The 2nd grade teachers had these things to say about our students of the week...
Journie has been selected as the student of the week for exemplifying kindness and respect in all her interactions. She builds meaningful friendships across the classroom and demonstrates courage and resilience when facing challenges. Her positive attitude and supportive nature consistently motivate and inspire her classmates.
Kiyan has really impressed me in just the few, short weeks that we have been in school! He has such a big heart for others, especially his teachers and classmates. I can often find Kiyan being the first to volunteer when I or a peer needs help, and he always does so with a smile. He truly is happy to help others! Kiyan also has a love of learning and is not afraid of a challenge. Even when a new concept is difficult, he is always willing to try! I have absolutely loved getting to know Kiyan, and I know that he will do wonderful things this school year. Keep it up, Kiyan!
We are so happy that Ethan is a part of our class family! Ethan is eager to learn and will bravely raise his hand to answer questions in class, even when learning something new. Ethan always has a smile on his face and is a kind friend to others. I’m excited to watch Ethan grow in second grade!
Claire is our Student of the Week! Claire is new to Kings Chapel, and she has done such a wonderful job fitting in and becoming part of our classroom family. She works hard, treats others with kindness, and brings such a positive spirit to our class each day. We are so glad Claire is part of our class and our Kings Chapel family!
I am so proud to choose Evelyn as our Student of the Week! Evelyn is such a ray of sunshine in our classroom! She comes to school each day with a bright and positive attitude. She works hard, shows a true love for learning, and loves sharing her knowledge and ideas during class. She is always kind and encouraging, and I love seeing her set such a wonderful example for others!
Nas’sir has shown himself to be a shining example of the PAWS Promise! He works hard, stays positive when the work is hard, and is always respectful to both his teacher and his classmates. Nas’sir is kind, helpful, and always tries his best. Great job, Nas’sir! Keep up the awesome work!
Great job, Cougars!
