There’s not too much that’s more special than family! 🤍

Our K–2 students created family trees with their families at home and brought them to school to share with their classmates. Through this activity, we learned a little more about one another and about the special little communities that make up each of our homes. 🌳🏡

Today, our preschool and K–2 kiddos came together for Bible time! ✝️

Children of all ages can learn about and celebrate our wonderful God together. Today, we began with the story of Creation and talked about how grateful we are for all the beautiful things He has made. 🌎☀️🌳

🎡💛 Fair Day Fun at PLH! 💛🎡

Yesterday, the Acorns & Oaks kids got to join in on all the fun during PLH Fair Day! They enjoyed sweet treats, fun games, lots of smiles, and of course plenty of extra love and attention from their special “grandmas & grandpas”! 🥰

We are so thankful for all the PLH staff who work so hard to make special days like this so much fun for the kids. We love watching the friendships and special connections they build with their “grandmas & grandpas” at PLH! ❤️

🌱 A day of learning, growing, and lots of fun together! 💚

On Friday, our Acorns & Oaks team headed to the Iowa Early Childhood Conference! We had a great day learning new things, getting new ideas, connecting with other early childhood educators, and of course, spending some time together outside of our classrooms.

We’re so thankful for a team that is always willing to learn and grow so we can continue giving our kiddos the best!

We're seeking someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children and creating a loving, nurturing environment where they can learn and grow.
✅ Must be 18 years or older
✅ Must be willing to work flexible hours
✅ Childcare experience is a plus, but a positive attitude and love for children are a must!

First day of K–2 EVER at Acorns & Oaks Christian Academy! 🤍✨

Where do we even begin? We are so incredibly grateful for the families, the children, and the staff who made this day possible. This program has been years in the making, and today it finally came to life.

Thank you, God, for bringing these wonderful families into our classroom and into our hearts forever. ✝️
