We have appreciated our partnership this summer! 💙 We were able to go swimming 3 days a week and use the gym while the elementary’s was unavailable. Not to mention all the fun they planned for us at Pattee Park and Wiese Park! 🚲⚽️🏀

Today is the last day for PACES kids at the pool!

We’ve had an absolute blast with all of you this summer — the energy, the laughs, sharks and minnows, and all the good times in the water. Thank you for making this summer season so special.

We’ll see you next year! 🏊☀️

☀️🎉 Summer FunFest is Back! 🎉☀️

Join us starting August 3rd for our annual Summer FunFest—a full 2 weeks of fun, creativity, and activity your kids won’t want to miss!

Our recreation staff has an awesome lineup planned, including park trips, gym time, crafts, games, and more to keep everyone active and engaged all day long.

We’ve got meals covered too! Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack are all provided. If your child prefers, you’re welcome to pack their own pre-made meals.

A couple of quick reminders:
• Bring a water bottle
• Pack an extra pair of shoes (for all the fun activities!)

Program Details:
Grades: K–5
Groups: K–2nd grade and 3rd–5th grade
Cost: $100
Spots are limited to 20 children per group

Before the rain rolled in, we had a wonderful morning at Swan Lake Education Center in Carroll! One of the centers was fishing which the kids loved! We also hiked, geocached, went birding and threw atl atls! 🎣🐟🌿🌳🦅🦬

We had a great morning at Swan Lake, but with the rain moving into Carroll, we will not be swimming this afternoon. We are headed back to Perry and will finish the day out at the school! ☔️⛈️💧

Thank you to the Perry Fire Department & Blank Children’s Hospital for participating again this year in our fire safety day! Students learned about how to safely escape a fire and ways to stay safe in the event of a fire. 🚒🧯🔥
