Please note: This is a continuation of an existing tax, not a new tax.

As you head to the polls on August 25th, you will see two important County propositions on the ballot. These propositions address the continuation of a millage and a sales tax that help provide funding for EMS agencies serving the citizens of Noble County.
These funds play an important role in supporting the emergency medical services that are there when you or a loved one needs emergency care.
Please take the time to learn about the propositions, understand what they provide for our community, and make sure your voice is heard. Get out and vote on August 25th!

Beware of Utility Phone Scams:
We want to make our customers aware of a recent phone spoofing attempt reported by one of OMPA’s member utilities. In this scam, customers received calls that appeared to come from their local utility phone number and were asked to make an immediate payment to avoid disconnection.
Similar attempts could potentially target customers in our community.
Please use caution when receiving unexpected calls requesting immediate payment or personal information. Remember, the City of Perry will not call customers and request payment over the phone.
If you receive a suspicious call, do not provide personal or payment information. When in doubt, contact City Hall directly using our official phone number to verify the status of your account.
Please share this information with family, friends, and neighbors to help keep our community safe.

**OUTAGE UPDATE - 8:50pm**

Power should now be restored to all affected customers. The source of the issue was at the substation itself, which is unusual and took longer than normal to diagnose. The electric crew has implemented a temporary repair to get everyone back online, and will be working with OMPA to implement a permanent repair in the future. Anyone still without power should contact the after hours number at (580) 336-4100. Remember to leave a message with your name, address, and contact information if no one is available to answer.

**OUTAGE UPDATE - 8:05pm**

The Electric Crew has been unable to trace the source of the outage, but is continuing to work toward restoration. We will update this post again as soon as we have additional information. Thank you again for your continued patience!

**OUTAGE ALERT**

The Electric Crew is aware of the outage and currently assessing the system to find the source of the issue. The outage seems to primarily be affecting residents on the north and east edges of town. If you are without power and also outside of that area, please all the After Hours phone at (580) 336-4100 to let them know your location. This will help the crew narrow down the source of the problem. If no one is available to answer the call, please be sure to leave a message with your name and address. Thank you for your patience as we work to resolve this outage.
