Please remember that your comments can be viewed by many people in our community and are in the public domain. While the district does not want to limit the opinions or comments of its community members, certain types of comments will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to delete posts that:

* Contain personal attacks or accusations;
* Could be offensive to or target specific ethnic or racial groups;
Incite violence;
* Encourage others to break the law;
* Could be considered campaigning for a political office;

DAWG Nation Spotlight:

The DAWGS hit the road to Panama City for a showdown with Bozeman High School. And boy, did they bring the thunder, crushing the competition with a 47-13 victory! 😊

Biology students collaborate in a hands-on lab, using microscopes and scientific equipment to investigate, observe, and apply classroom learning into action! 😊

JROTC students demonstrate teamwork, precision, and respect as they learn the proper procedures for folding the American flag! 😊

Congratulations to our JV and Varsity Volleyball teams for their big wins last week! Both teams are 2-0 to start the season! Great job girls! Go Dawgs! 😊

TCHS Band is partnering with InstaRaise and Popping Popcorn to sell popcorn online! Supporters of this campaign can choose to either purchase popcorn or donate.

🎯 Goals for Fundraised Money 🎯
🔵 Purchase a larger trailer for the band program
🟠 Pay for travel costs associated with competition performances (marching band, winter guard, concert band)
🔵 Continue to repair broken instruments in our inventory
🟠 Continue to replace old/broken/outdated instruments and auxiliary equipment (flag poles, silks, sousaphones, drum set)
🔵 Continue to fund running percussion costs and auxiliary costs (including paying our volunteer coaches)
🟠 Expand our school instrument inventory

Attention all SENIORS:

Taylor County High School is proud to be participating in the Florida Student Service Challenge. The first forty seniors to complete the challenge will be awarded a $500 scholarship. Anyone interested is invited to attend an informational meeting with Mrs. Curry on August 27th at 11:40 or 2:25 in the media center.
