🌭🎬 BBQ Potluck & Movie in the Park THIS SATURDAY!
Join us June 13 at 7 PM for a FREE, fun family evening at Promontory School of Expeditionary Learning! 🎉
We're bringing the hot dogs, beans, corn, watermelon & drinks — you bring a side dish or dessert to share (or just bring yourself, no pressure! 😄)
Come hang out, play games, hop on the train ride, and stay for the movie under the stars. We will be showing The Sandlot! Open to EVERYONE — friends, neighbors, families welcome! 🌟
Field opens at 7 PM | Movie begins at dusk
Don't forget to bring your picnic blankets, lawn chairs, pillows, and anything else that makes movie night cozy!

Join us next Saturday, June 13, for Promontory School’s Community Potluck BBQ and Movie in the Park as we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary!
Bring a dish to share, or just bring yourself. We’ll be providing hot dogs, chips, baked beans, watermelon, corn, and drinks.
Come enjoy an evening filled with games, laughter, friendship, and community before we wrap up the night with a showing of the classic movie The Sandlot.

This is a FREE community event. Bring your family, friends, neighbors, lawn chairs, and picnic blankets for a fun summer evening together.
If you’d like to volunteer to run a game or activity station, please let me know! It’s a great way to get a head start on next year’s volunteer hours. I’m looking for about 10 volunteers to help make the evening a success.

Today, Promontory School of Expeditionary Learning was recognized at the Purple Star School Award Ceremony! It was inspiring to be surrounded by so many incredible schools dedicated to supporting military-connected students and their families.
We were also excited to see Jennie Earl, who represents our area on the Utah State Board of Education. Thank you to everyone who helps make Promontory a welcoming and supportive place for military families.
We are honored to be a Purple Star School and proud to continue serving those who serve our country. 💜⭐

Congratulations to Rudra for winning a $1,000 scholarship through the Ken Garff Read Across America program! What an incredible accomplishment!

A special thank you to the Kiwanis International Club for recognizing two of our incredible students with the Hope of America Award!
Congratulations to Kendra and Tommy on this well-deserved honor. This award recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding citizenship, service, leadership, and respect for others.
