Guitar with Chuck DeFontes is a full service Guitar and Bass instruction program. Chuck is a 35 year veteran of the Mid-Atlantic live music scene. He is also an accomplished songwriter with an extensive recording background. His curriculum can be broad, addressing many points of study as it relates to guitar and bass study. Chuck teaches from a practical perspective. The plan is always to get stud

ents playing as soon as possible. While he throughly covers playing technique, mechanics, music theory, and ear training, he also coaches students with live performance essential skills. He assist students in creating their live sound with a comprehensive understanding of sound equipment and live presentation and marketing. As students advance, they often want to record their music. Chuck also teaches home recording techniques. For those interested in songwriting, Chuck's composing background and experience comes in quite handy. Each student is unique and therefore everyone's lessons are sculpted to their specific needs and goals. Whether you are just playing for personal enjoyment or wish to take things further, all goals can be realized.

Hi everyone, The weather is cooling down and it's a good time to play that guitar or get started playing. I work with beginners and intermediate players. I also offer discounts for seniors. Many of my students are retired and enjoy playing music as a hobby. I have openings on Mondays , Tuesdays and Wednesdays for 30 minute and 60 minute lessons.
