Our Greenhand Chapter Conducting Team will walk the stage this morning as state champions in the 4th general session which starts at 9a.m.

Our Greenhand Quizbowl Team will walk in the 5th general session which starts at 1:30p.m.

This is an opportunity to watch from home/work and cheer on the kids. There will be more than just recognition of awards. You can hear motivational/inspiring speeches, some of the many scholarships that students can receive just to name a few things on the agenda.

Texas FFA State Convention 2026 Update‼️

Tuesday was a busy day for our chapter.

Michelle, Maria, Mackenzie, Baylee, Fernanda, Julian and Riley

The Lone Star Degree is the highest Individual award a student can receive from the state association.

🎵The Chapter representatives also attended a concert by Aaron Watson.

The Jack County Showdown will be here before we know it. This is the county show’s annual fundraiser. The organization is challenged with the collapse of the “Ag mech” barn. Our county is also one of the few in which EVERY kid makes the sale! Mr. & Mrs Lange, Mr. Sell, Cody Murray or Jim Self can be reached for tickets. We would also like to especially thank James Wood Motors for their continued support of the event! Details are in the picture below.

Thank you to Jack County Farm Bureau for their donation to our chapter for our annual banquet in May. We appreciate their support of our youth in all aspects of agriculture!

Jack County Farm Bureau board President, David Harmonson presented the Perrin/Whitt FFA teacher, Mr.Lange with a $500 check to help with their annual banquet.

Last night members attended the Oil Belt District Convention.
Riley & Mackenzie retired as district officers. Baylee & Bea were elected as new district officers.
Others served as voting delegates to conduct the business of the organization.
Lone star degree candidates applications advanced to the next round of review which include: Baylee, Michelle, Julian, Mackenzie, Maria, Fernanda, Riley.
