Both evenings begin promptly in the Auditorium, with doors opening 30 minutes prior.

IMPORTANT: All parents must access their student’s schedule online before arriving and bring a printed copy or screenshot to follow during the evening.

💻 Reminder: PowerSchool verification must be completed before a laptop can be picked up.

🔒 Students will practice using demo lockers only—their assigned lockers will not be available for decorating or setup.

Today, North Middle School gathered for our Spring Celebration — a time to recognize accomplishments, celebrate our students and staff, and share our collective pride.

From honoring our athletes, artists, readers, leaders, and dedicated staff members, to recognizing years of service and celebrating our retirees, the afternoon was filled with reminders of what makes our school community so special.

We ended today’s celebration with something especially meaningful — honoring the life and legacy of our beloved security guard, Mr. Jim.

Mr. Jim was more than a member of our staff; he was a protector, a friendly face, a steady presence, and someone deeply loved by students and colleagues alike. We were honored to welcome his wife and family to join us as we shared memories, presented a memory book, plaque, flowers, and a commemorative shirt, and dedicated a bench outside our building in his memory.

Though he is no longer walking our halls, Mr. Jim’s impact remains woven into the fabric of North. His kindness, humor, and unwavering care for our school community will not be forgotten. ❤️

Tonight’s 7th Grade Honors Ice Cream Social was the perfect mix of celebration, sunshine, and tropical fun! 🌺🍦☀️

Families joined us for a Hawaiian-themed evening as we recognized the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of our amazing students. From leis and laughter to sweet treats and proud smiles, it was a wonderful way to celebrate a fantastic group of kids and the people who support them every step of the way.

This week, our North staff felt incredibly appreciated thanks to the amazing generosity and support of our NCN and North families! ❤️

Teacher Appreciation Week was filled with thoughtful surprises, delicious treats, and so many reminders of how valued our teachers truly are.

🍳 Monday kicked off with a grab-and-go breakfast to start the week strong.
🌮 Tuesday brought walking tacos and tres leches cake for a festive Cinco de Mayo celebration.
✏️ Wednesday featured an incredible school supply bar stocked with classroom essentials like pencils, tissues, hand sanitizer, and so much more.
🍫 Thursday was all about salty & sweet treats to help everyone power through the week.
🍦 Friday ended on the sweetest note possible with Dough & Co ice cream and cookie dough!

To our NCN and North families — thank you for showering our teachers with kindness, support, and appreciation all week long. Your generosity and thoughtfulness made a tremendous impact, and our staff truly felt the love. We are so grateful for this community and all you do for North! 💚💛

They sounded amazing! Jazz Band students at Pennridge North Middle School- PSD had an amazing day today as they worked intensively with Summer Camargo on a specific piece of music and improvised a solo with it.
Summer Camargo is a 24-year-old jazz trumpeter, composer, and bandleader who was recently named "25 for the Future" rising jazz stars by DownBeat magazine. Summer is a regular performer at notable NYC jazz clubs like Dizzy’s and Birdland, as well as a member of the Mingus Big Band. In 2022 Summer became the newest and youngest member of the Saturday Night Live house band and is also enjoying her most recent role as a band member in Broadway’s new musical, Just in Time.

Summer is a native of Hollywood, Florida and a Jerome Greene Fellowship recipient at The Juilliard School, where she received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Summer is a regular performer at notable NYC jazz clubs like Dizzy’s and Birdland, as well as a member of the Mingus Big Band. In 2022 Summer became the newest and youngest member of the Saturday Night Live house band and is also enjoying her most recent role as a band member in Broadway’s new musical, Just in Time.

The Book Fair is just days away! The Fair encourages students to read AND raises much-needed funds for our school. The easiest way for kids to shop the Fair is by creating and funding your child’s eWallet. No more worrying about cash, and their balances show right on the register.
