Jackie Washam Cekovsky is a private voice teacher based in Bucks County, PA. Jackie has been a singer and performer her whole life, after growing up in Souderton, PA she moved to NYC to attend NYU/Tisch School of the Arts to study Musical Theater. After graduating she spent many years living and working in NYC, performing regionally in many productions as well as in workshops, concerts and recordi

ngs of new musicals. Jackie moved to Perkasie, PA with her husband and children in 2016 and has been teaching privately since then. Jackie is currently pursuing her Masters of Voice Pedagogy with a focus on Musical Theater at Rider University/Westminster Choir College. Jackie offers in-person and virtual voice lessons and workshops for students of all ages, specializing in Musical Theater and Contemporary styles. Her students have performed locally at the Souderton Tree Lighting, Pennridge Gallery of the Arts and at Generations of Indian Valley as well as in numerous school and community theater productions. Jackie's students have gone on to pursue performing degrees at DeSales University, University of the Arts and Point Park University. In addition to teaching, Jackie continues to perform professionally in the Philadelphia area. Most recently, she performed as Guenevere in Montgomery Theater's 2023 production of Camelot.
