Blessed and lucky: Heart of the Lakes Relay for Life co-chairs share their journey through cancer Cory Solberg and Teresa Anderson, both of Perham, share struggles battling cancer, and what helped them through.

YELLOWJACKET CLASS OF 2006 REUNION!

There were 40 graduates who attended the reunion on Saturday, June 27th. The group started with a tour of PHS and ended with catching up, live music and Karoke at Big Pine Lodge. Super fun night!

Summer is an exciting time, as we start to build our Yellowjacket team for the upcoming school year. We would like to introduce you to these new teams members and hope that you can give them all a warm Jacket "WELCOME" when you see them!

We would like to start with welcoming (or, re-welcoming, in this case) Jordan Anderson. Many of you recognize Jordan as a Yellowjacket alumni and we are thrilled to have him join us as our new Director of Finance.

When asked about his path to Perham Public Schools, Jordan responded with:

"I graduated from the University of North Dakota with a degree in Accounting and initially started in Public Accounting at Eide Bailly, LLP. I moved over to the school sector in 2019, with the want to be involved in coaching. I have been with the Freshwater Education District #6004 since then. In the meantime, I have been coaching basketball at WDC and assisting numerous school districts in the area on school finance."

WELCOME BACK, JORDAN!

This week, 58 local youth ages 6-16 are performing in a musical rendition of Rapunzel, in partner with Perham Community Education and Missoula Children’s Theatre.
The performances will take place at the Perham Auditorium on Friday 6/26 at 6 PM and Saturday 6/27 at 1 PM. Cash tickets will be available at the door or they can be purchased online at

Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for students, and pre-k and under are free.

Yellowjackets Brody Freeland, Juliana Scraper and Ethan Johnson competed in the Nike National Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon. Brody finished 10th, Ethan 31st and Juliana finished 69th. What an incredible experience for these Jackets!
