Bunker Music Studio I have been teaching private piano students here in Perham since 1981. I have had students start as early as 5 and even at the age of 70..

I strive for patience and encouragement in my instruction, trying to nurture each individual in a positive manner. Goals for all my students include:

TO read music well with correct pitch and rhythm, independently,
including sightreading. TO know how to practice intelligently, making the best use of their
practice time. TO know how to bring out the melodies and
dynamics and other articulations created by the composers in the
music they play. I am a member of the Minnesota Music Teachers Association, Lakes
Area Independent Music Teachers, and a Nationally Certified Piano
teacher through the Music Teachers National Association. One of my former families wrote this about me:
"Russ taught all three of my children piano lessons from age 5 til 13
was patient kind and great teacher, mentor!"

I have a huge passion for developing good passionate music makers!
