Mrs. Hall’s 3rd grade class completed a glow in the dark, haunted house escape room today. Students had to complete different challenges and math problems to escape the haunted house. Every so often, there was a detour which led them to boxes filled with eyeballs (peeled grapes), guts (cooked spaghetti noodles), hearts (peeled tomatoes), and maggots (cooked rice). Everyone had a great time!

Mrs. Stewart’s 3rd grade class had a glow in the dark, haunted house escape room today. Students had to complete different challenges and math problems to escape the haunted house. Everyone escaped and enjoyed some snacks!

Today Mrs. Rollo’s 3rd grade class had a “spook-tacular” math review practicing their multiplication and division strategies. Students had to stick their hand in a box of greasy, grimy, and guts to find the task card with the equation. We had a box of maggots(rice), eyeballs( peeled grapes), intestines (lasagna noddles)al, and human skin(boiled cabbage). It was so fun seeing them brave the boxes full of gory Halloween tricks to get to the treat of advancing their math fluency!

Bus Safety Week at Perdido School was highlighted today with our Pre-K students from Mrs. White and Mrs. Esfeller’s classes getting to tour one of our buses AND getting their first bus safety lesson. We are so very thankful for our dedicated bus drivers (Mr. Williams, Ms. Joiner, Mrs. McDowell, Ms. Shiver, Mrs. Boutwell, and Mrs. Stacey)!
