We have enjoyed celebrating the Ratner Montessori 8th Grade Class of 2026! Our graduates participated in traditions like planting in the 8th grade garden and being feted by the 7th graders during 8th Grade Day. The celebrations wrapped up with graduation, and we are so deeply proud of the eloquence of our graduates’ speeches. We were touched by a surprise presentation from the students to Mike Griffith in recognition of his impending retirement.

When Ratner’s Head of School Mike Griffith announced his retirement earlier this year, first grader Logan submitted an application for the position. Among his qualifications he noted that he is kind, helpful, and a strong problem solver. Today, Logan spent the morning as Head of School to try out the job. He led the school through a tornado drill, signed some important paperwork, and assisted with our half-day dismissal. We think you’ll make a wonderful Head of School someday, Logan!
