Terry Jordan posted this. This message is for those of you who went to Orange High School prior to 1987. I am deeply saddenied to tell you that Dorothy McIntyre passed away this morning at 3:20 AM. She would’ve been 97 years old on July 13. She was as “feisty” as ever when I saw her two weeks ago, but this past Saturday she went into a coma. I saw her yesterday afternoon for the last time. I met Dorothy at a social studies conference in Lexington, Ohio in December 1972. She encouraged me to apply to Orange High School located in Pepper Pike, Ohio where she was the Social Studies Department Head — and the rest is history! She retired from Orange in 1987, and then served on the Orange School Board. If it wasn’t for her, I never would’ve had my wonderful career at Orange, never would’ve met my wife and never would’ve had my children! She was a colleague, mentor and friend. Her loss is devastating, and there will forever be a void in my life 😢😔.

Hi everyone!! It’s hard to say, 25 years have come and gone, since our last day at OHS. It’s true. Seriously. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Some had expressed interest in having a very informal gathering this year. I am happy to help out, but don’t have the ability to get it done this year. If someone would like to spearhead securing a location, menu, etc... (I recommend winking lizard on miles road for example), I will happily reach out and send an e-vite. I do hope all is well and everyone is happy.

Tonight I'm very sad to share news of the passing of Audrey Genovese. For those of us who knew her, Mrs. Genovese was a second mom. She was one of the nicest, sweetest people I knew (and who we had at Orange). She is going to be deeply missed. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers. xxoo Carlee

Hi everyone! This weekend is homecoming at OHS :) A few of our classmates will be on the field tomorrow night with the band for an alumni performance. I know of several others from our class who will be at the game... Hope to see you there! GOOOD ole Friday night football 😉😉
