Thank you again for your endorsement for my campaign to retain my seat on the Orange Board of Education! As you may have heard, the 2 school board challengers withdrew their candidacy on 9/21/21.
What does this mean? All 5 names will still appear on the ballot as their withdrawal was almost a month after the deadline to be removed from the ballot. Any votes cast for these candidates will not be counted. Barring a write in campaign, the 3 incumbents will be re-elected on November 2nd.
Yard signs were already ordered and will be completed today or tomorrow. I will still be placing them in yards as all names will be on the ballot. For those of you who already said I can place a sign in your yard, thank you! I still have a couple of dozen more signs that need homes. If you have not already told me you are willing to have one of my signs in your yard and you are willing to do so now, please let me know.
Thank you again to those who have made financial contributions to my campaign! I spoke with the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections, and unfortunately due to campaign finance laws, I am not allowed to return those contributions. However, I am allowed to donate those funds to a 501c3.
I will be paying for my yard signs personally and after the election, I will be donating the contributions I have received to two very worthwhile district 501c3’s which have a wonderful impact for members of our community and for our students:
1. Orange Area Service Committee

2. Orange Schools Foundation.

Thank you for your continued support and for your vote on November 2nd!
