Yesterday, Peotone High School students attended the Illinois Central Eight Leadership Conference, hosted by Herscher High School!

Students had the opportunity to connect with peers from across the conference while participating in leadership, collaboration, and team-building activities. They also enjoyed an inspiring keynote address from Ted Weise and left with plenty of great ideas to bring back to PHS.

We are proud of our Blue Devils for taking the initiative to grow as leaders and represent Peotone High School! 💙

🚨 STATE BOUND 🚨

Congrats to our Ag Sales CDE team who competed and finished 🥈2nd🥈 at the District 2 competition last night held at Joliet Junior College and are now State Finalists in the Ag Sales CDE!

This team took a test on sales principles, completed a team activity on preparing for a sales call, and then went through individual sales calls selling Lincoln Electric Welders with mock customers.

Each team member was top 3 in their individual rooms!

Declan McMaster - 2nd in Room 2
Kolten Koehn - 2nd in Room 3
Jake Voss - 3rd in Room 4

Congratulations to these four on their success, and best of luck as they prepare for the state contest in November.

💜 Panici Night is this Thursday! 💜 This Thursday, October 15, the PHS Volleyball team will host its annual Panici Night in honor of Lisa Panici. We invite everyone to wear purple in support of this meaningful cause!

Before the varsity volleyball match, there will be raffles and other special activities for attendees to enjoy. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Slager family to help with health care expenses.

We hope you’ll join us in showing your support for this important cause and cheering on our Blue Devils! 💜🏐 The varsity match is at 7:00 pm.

Good News! 🩸❤️ The Peotone Public Library and PHS Student Council are teaming up once again to host an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Thursday, November 12, from 1:00–6:00 p.m.

The School Board and Administration of Peotone 207U is beginning the task of developing a strategic blueprint for the District. The Blue Devil Blueprint will help guide future decision making in all areas of District operations including academics, building facilities, operations, and communication.

The work in this area began July 1st when we sent out a survey accessible to all stakeholders asking for their feedback on the current condition of the District. The survey results were presented publicly to the Board of Education at our August meeting and can be found on our Blue Devil Blueprint website (link below).

Here is where we need your help! On Monday November 9th at 6:30 p.m. we are inviting all community stakeholders to come together to dive deeper into these 5 areas and create a vision for Peotone 207U moving forward.
