Interested in learning how to use your DSLR? Or are you looking to refresh your photography skills? Check out our upcoming Photography class for real-world use!

Learn from Steven Vandeven over 6-weeks how to use your DSLR camera across different settings and genres, such as portraiture, macro, landscape, and long exposure/night, with a possible introduction to importing and editing after the camera settings sections.

The final session of this course will include a trip to the Riverfront to take photos as a class to put what you've learned into action!

Beginning September 2nd, class will meet every Wednesday from 6:30-8pm until October 7th. $150 course with a payment plan available.

This morning we had a couple Peoria Academy volunteers on their last day of summer break working in our office. They bagged buttons for Fine Art Fair, inventoried table cloths, and shredded old documents. We ended the volunteering by working in the ceramics studio during open studio hours to practice the throwing they learned over the summer here at the guild and at Wheel Art Pottery's summer camp!
