Want a chance to win some extra cash? 📸 The Photo Contest is open and we are excited to see the photos you have captured throughout Peoria County! Cash awarded to the Best of Show and 1st and 2nd in each category. New this year is a digital submission for your photos just scan the QR code or use the link in the comments to submit your photos. You can still submit your photos as a hard copy if you would like by mailing or dropping them off in the office.

Moving day is right around the corner! The Peoria County Farm Bureau office will be closed at noon on Friday, August 28th, and all day on Monday, August 31st, to finish our move into our new, temporary office space at 10112 W Dubois Rd. Edwards, IL 61528.

For those still needing to turn in photos for our photo contest, you can still stop in until noon on Friday, August 28th, at our University St. location. You can, also, submit them digitally through the link below, or mail them to our PO Box (listed below)

August 21, 2026 Building Update!🛠️

Siding and windows have been installed on one side of the office space. We expect to see the same on the other side of the building come next week! Follow along each week to see how our new building and event space progresses!

IMPORTANT UPDATE!

Beginning September 1st the Farm Bureau office will be relocating to a temporary office located at 10112 W Dubois Rd. Edwards, IL 61528. Beginning now, our mailing address has changed to Peoria County Farm Bureau PO Box 9 Edwards, IL 61528.

We are currently working on finalizing the sale of the Farm Bureau building in Peoria and are planning to close on September 1st. Because of this, we are moving to a temporary location until our new building is completed. Outside of the mailing and physical addresses, nothing will change operationally.

August 8, 2026 Building Update!🛠️

The new office and event space is moving right along with construction even with all the rain we have been lucky to receive this week! The framework on the office space is up. They were finishing up the roof today. We should expect to see the siding going up soon!

We are partnering with Stone School Farms for a perfect UPick flower night September 18th!🌷 Join us to learn more about their farm right here in Peoria County, get some tips and tricks on cut flowers, and then wander the fields and create your perfect centerpiece! Tickets include all the materials to cut and arrange flowers into a wide mouth quart mason jar.

August 8, 2026 Building Update!🛠️

The tin siding on the event space is almost completed. They were working on finishing up the concrete base of the office space this morning. We should expect the framework on the office to go up very soon!

Thank you to all of our members who ordered and picked up peaches yesterday! With the help of our amazing volunteers and staff we were able to distribute 25,175lbs of peaches! 🍑

Complete the action request and urge the U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee members to pass the Farm Bill with year-round E15 included.

The Senate Agriculture Committee is set to mark up the Senate Farm Bill, on Thursday, August 6th. We STRONGLY SUPPORT these efforts and recognize this as a crucial next step to ensure passage of a farm bill this year.

What does the Senate Farm Bill include?

✅Provisions related to authorizing the sale of E15 blended fuel year-round.
✅Strengthens support for farmers: Expanding access to commodity, disaster, dairy, crop insurance, and farm loan programs while increasing assistance for beginning, veteran, and specialty crop producers.
✅Invests in conservation, research, and innovation: Promotes precision agriculture, conservation practices, ag research, automation, mental health resources, and new technologies like plant biostimulants and sustainable aviation fuels.
✅Boosts rural communities and infrastructure: Improves access to rural credit, broadband, drinking water, healthcare, education, meat processing, and other critical community services.
✅Expands markets: Increases agricultural export promotion, strengthens Buy American requirements, and supports local and regional food systems.
