Young Scientists at Work!

Our students took a closer look at the building blocks of life as they observed cells under the microscope! 👀🧫

Through this hands-on investigation, students practiced making careful observations, identifying visible cell structures, and creating scientific drawings based on what they saw. This experience also helped them connect their observations to the characteristics of living things.

🏀🎒 From Richwoods to the University of Washington—and Back to Give Back! 📚❤️

We were so excited to welcome Lathan Sommerville to Trewyn School! Lathan is a proud Richwoods High School graduate and former Richwoods basketball player, and he is now continuing his basketball journey at the University of Washington. 🏀💜

Lathan came to visit Ms. Kontos’ 1st-grade classroom with his mom, who read the students a wonderful basketball story about never giving up on your dreams and always believing in yourself. 🏀📖✨

Lathan also surprised our students with backpacks filled with school supplies! 🎒✏️📚 What a thoughtful and meaningful way to give back to the community and inspire our young learners!

It was such a special experience for our students to meet someone who once walked the halls of Richwoods and is now pursuing his dreams at the collegiate level. Lathan’s journey is a beautiful reminder that with hard work, perseverance, and belief in yourself, dreams really can become a reality. ❤️

Thank you, Lathan and Mom, for spending time with our students and for your incredible generosity! We are so proud to see a Richwoods Royal giving back to the next generation! 👑🏀

Welcome to Your House! 🏠💙💛💚❤️

Kindergarten House Sorting with Mr. Allen and his students! 🎉 Our newest Trewyn family members were sorted into their House colors, inspired by the Ron Clark Academy House System. 🏠✨

We’re excited to welcome our kindergarteners to their Houses and can’t wait to see them build friendships, show teamwork, and create amazing memories together throughout the school year! 💙💛💚❤️
