New Staff Spotlight! 📣☘ Please join us in welcoming 3 new teachers: Ms. Laura Delgado (Theology), Mrs. Pam Beaver (Science), and Mr. Brady Culp (Science).
✨ Ms. Delgado grew up in South Bend, IN. She entered education after witnessing first hand the transformative impact that theology teachers can have on their students. She wanted to participate in that mission of spreading the surpassing gift of knowing Christ onto the youth and looks forward to Mass being available everyday at PND. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Delgado loves reading, painting, scrapbooking, and picking up any instrument, especially the guitar and piano. She also was once told that she could probably beat Caitlin Clark in a game of basketball!
✨ Mrs. Beaver comes to PND after a long career in public education. She originally pursued education because she wanted to inspire students through science, build meaningful relationships, and help every learner discover their potential both inside and outside the classroom. Mrs. Beaver is looking forward to growing in her faith at PND by speaking more clearly with God, as well as listening better to what He wants of her personally and professionally. Outside of school, Mrs. Beaver loves spending time with her 3 grandchildren and 5 children. She enjoys swimming, hiking and being outdoors. Fun fact: she also has a twin brother Paul, who was born three minutes before her.
✨ Mr. Culp is a recent college graduate who is excited to be back at PND as a teacher! He reflected that during this transitory time in his life, he is now the example of faith for so many students and is excited for the responsibility to live out the witness of the Gospel. He is excited to teach at PND knowing that while we have great tools to get students to college, our primary goal is to develop saints and disciples of Jesus. Some of Mr. Culp’s interests and hobbies include country music, ultimate frisbee, rooting for the Cardinals and Patriots, and having just gotten his degree, he enjoys talking about the brain. In undergrad, Mr. Culp was an intramural softball champ AND worked as an EMT and firefighter in Carter Lake, IA!
