As we continue to be thankful for our community, we'd like to take the time to thank Coyote Hills PTSO for putting on a really fun Tailgate Event for both schools! Thankyou for including PTS Booster in all the fun! Hosting the Caramel Apple Booth & Harvest Photo Booth was great! We met new families, laughed and had COLD NOSES haha.. We look forward to more opportunities to serve together!

Today, I, Rachel Varela on PTS’s behalf,
had the privilege to accept a $2,500 donation from the new Safeway that opened on 83rd & Happy Valley. It was so cool to see so many community members and PUSD schools there. It was exciting to watch a community come together and celebrate growth.

I ran in the parking lot with a giant cardboard check to make it back to school on time to help our awesome volunteers serve a snow cone to EVERY kid. The smiles, oh the smiles! I love this job!

Then, to see all of these wonderful PTS families at Tailgate tonight, my heart is overflowing. It’s all about community and coming together. Thankyou for showing up. Thankyou for your support and thankyou for letting this PTS board serve you. It’s an honor that we do not take lightly. I hope to see yall again at movie night next Friday!

🚨 Booster is doing something a little different this year! 🚨 We asked teachers to nominate a kiddo who could use a BOOST. A little shout out for any reason at all, to make them feel loved & encouraged.

Each nominee was given a little treat bag with fun stickers, skittles, and a pencil. It was really awesome to see the students clap for each other and congratulate them.
We plan to BOOST students each month ❤️

📍 Drop-off Location: Each Event starting with the Tailgate event will have a drop box. If you can't make it to an event you can bring your socks to the front office!

Together, we can spread warmth and kindness one pair of socks at a time! 💙
