SOCA (School of Combative Arts) teaches a JKD (Jeet Kune Do) Concepts system centered around self-defense applications. The SOCA JDK system is a practical blend of Hung Gar Kung Fu, Wing Chun Kung Fu, Kuntao, Silat and Escrima/Kali/Arnis. It includes Chinese, Indonesian, Malaysian and Pilipino martial arts techniques. Jeet Kune Do is a philosophy of martial arts having a “style of no style” or the

“art of fighting without fighting” founded by the legendary Bruce Lee. It stresses creating a personal system of martial arts for each individual. The system is broken down into ranges (kicking, punching, trapping, grappling) with techniques flowing smoothly between them and focusing on the concept of interception, or attacking your opponent while he is about to attack you. Jeet Kune Do is translated to “way of the intercepting fist”.
