IL Rural Health Association Workforce Development Scholarships Now Open

Applications Due Nov 22nd

Once again, the Illinois Rural Health Association is offering a number of workforce development scholarhips in the following amounts:

$1500 Dental*,
$1250 Pharmacy
$1000 Grad level behavorial health /social work

Students must be currently enrolled in a program with an intent to return to a Health Professional Shortage/MUA area in Illinois to practice. Scholarships will be applied towards the Spring Semester 2027.

IL Rural Health Assn Offering Grad Level Behavioral Health Scholarships Illinois Rural Health Association

Recognizing the dire shortage of behavioral health professionals in rural areas in our state, the Illinois Rural Health Association is offering a limited number of $1250 scholarships for the spring semester 2027.
Criteria: Students in their final year of graduate school for social work or behavioral health, raised in a rural area with the intent of practicing in rural Health Professional Shortage Area in Illinois.
