During the August 27 board meeting,
PUPC was recognized for their work growing the parent voice in Peoria! Our board was given the pin of excellence followed by kind words from all our board members praising us for our ability to connect parents into our welcoming spaces to share in conversation. Just a bunch of moms from all walks of life who show up to collaborate for our kids. We love collaborating with our friends at UPC PVUSD! Thank you to our district for inviting parents in to engage!

Strong schools start with strong partnerships. Last week, Peoria Unified's Communications & Public Relations Department met with representatives from the Peoria United Parent Council and UPC PVUSD to discuss new ways to strengthen communication and increase parent and community engagement. We're grateful for the parents who volunteer their time, share their perspectives and help us create the best possible experience for students and families.
