Congratulations to our two Liberty Staff Members of the Month for May: Jen Wood and Leslie Pacimeo!
Students use a QR code around campus to nominate staff members who have helped them, supported them, taught them, and encouraged them. Mrs. Wood, from Liberty's ESS department, and Mrs. Pacimeo, from Liberty's English department, go above and beyond to build positive relationships with our students and to take care of our campus. Well deserved! We are Liberty!

Dear Liberty Families,
With heavy hearts, we share the tragic news that our Liberty community has lost a deeply cherished member. On Monday, we learned that Tyler Hussey, our beloved boys soccer coach and dedicated math teacher, passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Coach Hussey was, above all, a good human being. He cared deeply about people and consistently put others before himself. Whether in the classroom or on the field, he showed up each day with kindness, humility, and a genuine desire to serve and support those around him. Even while facing his own challenges, he fought with incredible strength and grace, never seeking attention or sympathy. His quiet resilience and unwavering commitment to others left a lasting mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
His impact on our students, staff, and families is immeasurable, and his absence will be profoundly felt across our school community.
Our thoughts are with the Hussey family during this incredibly difficult time. The family has asked for privacy as they grieve their loss.
The district’s Grief Support Team will be available to support any students who may need a listening ear or a safe space to process their emotions during this time.
At this time, arrangements are still pending. We will share additional information as soon as it becomes available. If you wish to share condolences with the Hussey family, please consider sending messages through the school office, and we will ensure they are delivered.
We are deeply grateful for the strength and compassion of our Liberty community as we navigate this loss together. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.
We are Liberty.
