MARK YOUR CALENDARS!! We are one week from our Teacher Appreciation Parade! Our parade will be Friday, May 15th from 4:30 pm - 6 pm. Our teachers will be under the solar panel side of the school. Below is a map of the parade route and where our teachers will be! As part of our celebration, families are invited to use low powered water guns to help keep our teachers cool and have a little fun during this event! Please, no high powered water guns as we want to keep everyone safe, happy and the parade moving 🤗 There will be tables set up on the outside solar panels in which any teacher gifts can be left so they do not get wet. Booster will be out helping to receive these from the driver side of the vehicles! We can’t wait to celebrate Peoria Traditional School with our families!

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week! Peoria Traditional School has the BEST teachers! PTS meet our new fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Rubi!

My name is Heidi Rubi and this will be my tenth year in the Peoria School District. I love books and I love children, so teaching is both my joy and calling. Mr. Rubi and I love traveling and hiking. In addition, we love spending time with our three grown sons along with our daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. I've heard wonderful things about PTS, and I look forward to serving this community this year.

PTS meet our new kindergarten teacher Ms. Hendrix!

Hello! My name is Dacey Hendrix and I’m very excited to be joining the PTS team this year as the new Kindergarten teacher. I taught kindergarten for two years in another district. I’m a Grand Canyon University graduate. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family and friends. I can’t wait to begin the year at PTS and I’m looking forward to meeting my students, their families and working with the PTS staff. See you all soon!

PTS meet our new junior high teacher, Mrs. Cancelli! We are excited to have her join our team this year!

Hello! My name is Danielle Cancelli, and I'm SO excited to finally be joining the PTS family! I've been a math teacher for 12 years, and I've taught at the high school level, as well as 7th and 8th grade. I'm married and have a three-year-old son named Kolt, and I have a baby girl on the way. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, camping, hiking, drinking coffee, and relaxing at home. I can't wait to begin a new year with a great group of students and an amazing staff!

Second generation Holocaust survivor, Anna Kron, stopped by today to speak to our Jr. High students. Our students got to hear some great insight on how the events of the Holocaust transpired and how it affected families all over Europe. Thank you Mr. Hebert for organizing this presentation today.
