We were excited to return to the mountains for our Community Retreat this year!

Everyone enjoyed learning the Monkey and 2nd Brother Staff forms amongst the trees and fresh air; receiving thought providing and life impacting teachings from Grandmaster Instructor Jerry Dibble; as well as spending quality time together with each other. Special thanks to Grandmaster Instructor Jerry Dibble for another incredible Retreat; and to Master Instructor Alan Venable and Master Instructor Julie Reese for their valuable assistance in making this Community Retreat happen at a high level. Starting with the Little Tigers program, my son developed devotion and learned the responsibility that comes with commitment. They taught him discipline and respect for himself and for others. Everything is "Yes, Sir" and "Yes, Ma'am". When we go out as a family to a restaurant, he answers the waiters with "Yes, please" and a "Thank you Sir/Ma'am" and consistently holds the door open for complete strangers. This all comes fro the regimented training he receives at United Kung Fu.
