Women in Business is an organization created to continually address the topics that interest the contemporary women in business.
All majors are more than welcome to join. As Women in Business we will strive toward and succeed at preparing young women for careers while informing them about business networking opportunities. We will give them a place to be involved and develop a common ground with the Bradley University student population and surrounding community.
Ladies, we have some great opportunities coming up!
This Thursday, Women in Business will be co-hosting a professional make-up seminar with Fashion Focus! This event will be located in GCC 126 at 6:30pm! Don't miss out on some free makeup samples.
Second, we will be volunteering at the Women's Lifestyle Show on Saturday! If you are interested, please check your emails for the google doc to sign up (or shoot us an email at [email protected])

Second meeting of the year at 6:30pm in Baker 256! Meghan Fleming, Smith Career Center intern will be coming to give tips on how to impress employers at the job fair! This will be a great time to ask any questions you may have!
We will also be talking about a great volunteer opportunity! Don't miss out!

Come to our first meeting of the year tonight at 7pm in Baker 256! We will be discussing our plans for the semester. Feel free to bring a friend. There will be treats and fun!
Enjoying the hot weather? Come cool down with Women in Business at Sweet Cece's tonight at 6pm! We will be meeting in front of the student center at 5:45 to walk over together. WIB will be picking up the tab for the first $4 toward your sundae!
Also, t-shirts have come in!! If you would like to buy one comment or email us your size and bring $12 tonight.
REMINDER: For those of you who are coming to Fired Up! Studios tonight meet in front of the student center at 5:30. WIB will be paying the sitting fee but be sure to bring $8-10 for the piece you would like to paint.
REMINDER: We have a meeting TONIGHT in Baker at 7pm! There will be PIZZA and we will be having elections for exec for next year! All positions are open to run for, so if you would like to be on exec next year prepare a short speech about why you would like that position.
Tonight at 7pm we will be holding our elections in Baker 256! Positions open include secretary and vice president. These positions will be for the rest of the spring semester. If you are interested, simply prepare a short speech about yourself and why you would be good for the position.
Even if you are not planning on running for one of these positions your attendance matters! We need your vote! Also, afterward we will be doing a team-building activity and talking about events for the remainder of the semester.

There will be FOOD!
TONIGHT we will be having guest speaker, Dr. Jennifer Robin at 8pm in Baker Hall, Room B-51. We will be learning about "Women Competing in a Male-Dominated Workforce." She will also be discussing differing communication styles and how to stand out and be bold in the male-dominated workplace. This will be very beneficial with Job Fair Interviews quickly approaching!
You do not need to be a member to attend. Everyone is welcome!
Fruit salad and beverages will be served!

We will be discussing important changes in Women in Business. It is very important that you come. We value your feedback.
Our last meeting of the semester will be Wednesday, Dec. 4 (Study Day Eve) at 8pm in Baker 256. We will be hosting Ms. Thomas from ConAgra Foods who will be talking about what it's like getting your first job after graduation and sharing her personal experiences.
After the meeting we will be discussing plans for next semester and voting on exec board roles. There will be a lot of important information discussed so please plan on attending.
